What this policy covers
This privacy policy describes how BDS handles information collected through bizsolutions.dev and through discovery-call interactions with prospective clients.
Information collected through this site
BDS collects only the information necessary to operate the website and respond to inquiries.
- Web analytics. Standard aggregate analytics (page views, traffic sources, device class) are collected to understand site performance. Analytics are configured to anonymize IP addresses and respect Do Not Track headers.
- Calendar booking forms. When a visitor books a discovery call, the calendar tool collects the information required to schedule and contact — typically name, email address, company name, and a brief description of the inquiry.
- Contact email. When a visitor emails the published contact address, the email and its contents are processed by the email provider and reviewed by BDS staff.
BDS does not use third-party advertising trackers and does not sell visitor data.
Information collected during discovery calls and engagements
Information shared during discovery calls and active engagements is treated as confidential and used only for the purpose of evaluating fit, scoping work, and delivering on engagements. Material shared under engagement-specific NDAs is governed by those NDAs.
How information is stored and protected
- Calendar booking data is stored in the calendar tool of record (default: Calendly) under that vendor’s security and data-protection terms.
- Email inquiries are stored in the email provider of record under that vendor’s security terms.
- Engagement data is stored in BDS-controlled storage with access limited to the engagement team.
Data retention
- Inquiry-only data (calendar bookings that did not progress to engagement, email exchanges that did not result in work) is retained for twenty-four months and then deleted.
- Engagement-related data is retained per the engagement agreement, typically for the duration of the engagement plus five years for record-keeping purposes.
Your rights
If you would like a copy of any personal data BDS holds about you, or would like that data corrected or deleted, contact BDS at the published email address. Requests are processed within thirty days.
Changes to this policy
Material changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. The policy will not be changed retroactively to reduce protections for previously-collected data.
